Suggested Questions to Ask Your Healthcare Provider

Get the most out of your appointment.

Knowing what to ask your healthcare provider ahead of time will help ensure you get the most out of your visit. It helps a lot if you write everything down. That includes medical histories and questions you want answered. (How many times have you left a healthcare provider's office only to remember that question you meant to ask?)

Don't be shy about asking questions. And if you don't understand the answers, don't hesitate to ask to him or her to repeat them.

Here are some suggested questions to download and take with you.

If you're unsure what these questions mean, call Fertility LifeLines™ at 1-866-LETS-TRY (1-866-538-7879) and someone will help explain them to you. All calls are free and confidential.

Also, take a minute to fill out My Fertility Profile. It's an interactive tool that will give you a better understanding of your own fertility before you see your healthcare provider.
